Alternative To Drugs & Surgery

Class IV Light Therapy is an FDA-approved modality that provides patients and clients with a non-invasive, non-medication alternative for pain relief and healing.

The nature of deep tissue laser therapy provides a solution for those who are looking for an alternative to prescription drugs and surgery.

The Right Delivery Method

Deep tissue conditions are treated especially well using the LightForce™ Therapy Laser’s patented Laser-Massage® treatment head.  This patented feature allows the practitioner to deliver energy while manipulating underlying tissue and muscle thus enhancing the effectiveness of the treatment.

Clinically Proven

Laser therapy is clinically proven as an effective treatment for pain and inflammation. It’s effective for treating injuries, acute and chronic musculoskeletal issues, pain, multiple types of arthritic conditions, swelling/edema, post-surgical orthopedic conditions, and loss of joint range of motion

How it works

Class IV deep tissue light therapy is a medical treatment that works through a process called photo-biomodulation. Think of it like photosynthesis, delivering light at depth. Photons enter the tissue and interact with the cytochrome C complex in the mitochondria which triggers an increase in cellular metabolism, a decrease in pain, healing of injured tissue and a reduction in muscle spasms.

The nature of the condition and the patient’s response to the treatments will play a key role in determining how many treatments will be needed. Most laser therapy plans of care will involve 6-12 treatments, with more treatment needed for longer standing, chronic conditions.

What to expect

Patients feel a soothing warmth as laser energy gently penetrates tissue and boosts your body’s own regeneration powers to relieve your pain.

With LightForce® lasers, treatments are quick ranging anywhere from 5-20 minutes depending on the size, depth, and acuteness of the condition being treated. High-power lasers can deliver a lot of energy in a small amount of time, allowing therapeutic dosages to be achieved quickly.

Results can be immediate but the most observed results are after 3 to 5 treatment sessions.  The body continues to benefit from the effects of the therapy for 18-24 hours after treatment.  During this time, modulated cellular activity leads to decreased pain and inflammation.

Patients often report improved sensation, including a therapeutic warmth and some analgesia immediately after the treatment. For noticeable changes in symptoms and condition, patients should undergo a series of treatments as the benefits of laser therapy from one treatment to the next are cumulative.
