SHOULDER PAIN RELIEF

Relief from shoulder pain without having to take medications, injections or potential surgery.

When people seek relief for shoulder pain, the next thing they want to know is what's causing it. Is it really the shoulder? Is it my neck, or is it the spine? Therapists at Be Fit will take care to distinguish the cause of the pain, whether it originates in the rotator cuff or glenohumeral joint, or whether the pain is referred from another part of the body. Then, we design an individualized program that addresses each patient's symptoms.

Shoulder Pain Therapy

How long before I can see some relief?

You will feel a difference within your first few treatments. The more chronic the injury is the longer the full recovery will be. It is best to seek treatment early to avoid chronic injuries that take longer to recover.

Be wary of…..

Physical Therapy clinics that do not provide one-on-one treatment that focuses on you as a whole person. You have an injury and your entire body reacts to fix itself. This can cause compensation by uninjured, less painful limbs. This is a reaction intended as protection, and it allows for (somewhat) less painful movement. Unfortunately, it can also lead weakness and further injury. It is important that you are educated on how your body reacts to injury and taught how to prevent re-injury.

Why act Now?

Injuries can quickly lead to problems. Our bodies have the amazing ability to fix themselves and prevent our brains from detecting pain. This can lead to myofascial bands that constrict activity and cause weakness and compensation to occur. The longer your body is fixing itself, the longer your recovery may be.
