JOSEPHINE KLONOWSKI

BS, PTA, PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT

Education:

B.S. in Business & Management - Northeastern Illinois University
AAS in Physical Therapy Assistant - Green River Community College

Josephine graduated from Northeastern Illinois University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Business. After four years in the business field she realized she wanted to do more to help others. Therefore, she earned her associate's degree in applied sciences and became a licensed physical therapist assistant in Seattle, where she moved with her husband. Jo began her career treating patients with multiple medical conditions in the inpatient hospital setting. After she moved back to Illinois in 2016, she began treating patients in the skilled nursing facility setting where she continued to work with a team of therapists to get patients back to their prior level of function. With an interest in the outpatient orthopedic setting, she is making the transition from inpatient to outpatient by closely working with the physical therapists at Be Fit Physical Therapy and Pilates to expand her manual and vestibular skills. She looks forward to continuing her education in orthopedics and manual therapy through experience and continuing education classes. In her spare time, she enjoys running, participating in running events, and spending time with her family.
